Our namesake. Our heart. The woman whose laughter filled every room, whose kitchen never closed, and whose love for family became the recipe for everything we serve. Joanna "Joey" passed in 2018, but her spirit is alive in every plate, every toast, and every warm welcome at Arawak Cay.

Joey's Fish Fry was built on the belief that a meal is never just a meal, it's a gathering, a memory, and a way of keeping loved ones close.

We marinate overnight. We season by hand. We fry everything to order and serve it hot, because that's how Joey did it. Our recipes come from generations of Bahamian home cooks, shaped by weekend fish fries, front-porch storytelling, and the kind of hospitality that makes strangers feel like cousins.
From conch salad scooped fresh at the dock to our signature cracked conch and grilled snapper, every dish is a tribute to the island flavors that raised us.
